We warmly welcome students and young adults from the London area to join us for a dinner + study on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM.
Nathan & Madeline
Nathan, Madeline, and Avery Korten. Madeline and I took up leadership of CCF in September 2021. Prior to moving to London, we lived in Hamilton, where Madeline was an admin for a real-estate appraisal company and I was a pilot for an air ambulance company. Our little girl
Avery was born in November 2020, and in the spring of 2021, we decided it was time to move in a different direction and begin preparing for ministry. I will be taking courses at Western for the next year or so, and then it’s off to seminary! In the meantime, Madeline has been busy working for her former employer part-time from home, as well as taking care of Avery and keeping things running at home.
John & Amanda
Taking on the daunting role of head cook is Amanda Vanderheiden, assisted by her family! Now a few months in, it is fair to say that she is doing a wonderful job. The food has been excellent, and the Vanderheiden family has been a welcome addition to our larger “surrogate” family.
History (2015-2022)
Over the years God has used the Campus Fellowship Ministry to raise up and sent off three young couples – beginning with the Wrights, then the Temples, and then the VanAmerongens.
This ministry of gathering, discipling and sending continues to bless not only students and area adults with a weekly meal and time of fellowship in the Word, but also serves the churches with more young men to serve in ministry.
Jordan & Leanna
Jordan and Leana VanAmerongen lead the ministry for two years, and have moved on to full time studies at Gillespie Divinity through Grace Presbyterian Church in Woodstock. We are thankful to have Jordan supply our congregation every so often now, exalting Christ from the pulpit.
Jeff & Michelle
Dr. Jeff Temple and his wife Michelle lead the ministry for two years, and then moved our brother on to serve as pastor of Providence Reformed Church in Hamilton in September of 2019
Scott & Vanessa
Scott and Vanessa were used by God to begin the ministry from out of their home near Western. Scott is now a candidate for the ministry in the United Reformed Churches of North America, and has been called to Covenant URC of Pantego Bay, NC.
