Morning | Christ and the Supper:
Continuing in Luke 24, we find the Lord open the eyes of his disciples through breaking bread with them. Today our Lord continues to open the eyes of his disciples with his Word and through the breaking of the bread.
Evening | Christ brings man to God:
Continuing in the Heidelberg Catechism Lords day 6, and looking at 1 Peter 3:18 we see what Christ accomplishes through his suffering and see the truth confirmed: Indeed it is good to suffer according to God’s will!
